Custom industrial solution: design of a cleaning equipment system
In industry, constraints rarely fit into predefined boxes. Limited space, specific operating conditions, performance requirements or environmental challenges: every need is unique. In this context, standard equipment quickly reaches its limits.
Based on a concrete need identified in the field, our teams design and manufacture industrial solutions perfectly adapted to your operational constraints. A recent example: a mobile cleaning station developed to meet the operational requirements of Veolia.

What is a custom industrial solution?
A custom industrial solution consists of designing and manufacturing equipment specifically adapted to a client’s constraints. Unlike standard machines, it addresses a precise need by integrating the technical, operational, and environmental requirements specific to each project.
Custom engineering is not about modifying existing equipment. It is a comprehensive approach that involves the entire production chain: from needs analysis, co-engineering, and design, through to industrialisation, manufacturing, quality control, and delivery.
The objective is simple: to design equipment that is fully adapted to its operating environment, with no compromises.
Why choose a custom industrial solution over standard equipment?
In industry, standard equipment can meet a need, but rarely perfectly.
Designed to suit the widest range of applications, it often requires compromises: process adjustments, reduced efficiency, or workarounds to overcome field constraints.
In contrast, a custom industrial solution is designed for a specific use case.
It allows, in particular, to:
- adapt to real operational constraints
- achieve a performance level defined from the outset
- optimise intervention times and working conditions
- integrate specific requirements, especially in terms of environment or resource management
In the case of industrial cleaning equipment, these differences are very tangible. Pressure, flow rate, temperature, storage capacity, or water management must all be adjusted according to actual use.
Custom engineering therefore makes it possible to design a coherent system, properly sized for its application and directly ready for field operation.
It is also a way to secure the project from the design stage, by limiting adjustments once the equipment is in service.
Case study: a custom industrial cleaning solution developed for Veolia

Developed by Euclide Solution, this project addresses Veolia’s cleaning needs. The objective was to design equipment capable of ensuring effective cleaning of PAV columns (voluntary drop-off points).
The objective was clear: a mobile, high-performance solution designed for real field operating conditions.
In this context, the main challenges identified were:
- ensuring a high level of cleanliness in line with strict hygiene requirements
- operating directly on site with a fully autonomous system
- optimising water management (clean and wastewater)
- integrating a waste recovery solution
Given these constraints, standard equipment could not deliver the required level of performance.
A field-designed industrial cleaning system
The solution developed is based on a mobile PAV column washing station, integrating a dedicated waste management compartment.
Designed for fully autonomous field operation, the system combines:
- a high-pressure hot water cleaning system, powered by an integrated boiler, ensuring effective disinfection
- a high-pressure cold water cleaning system
- a powerful suction system
- a complete clean and wastewater management system with integrated recycling
- a dedicated waste collection area
Each function was designed based on real operational use, ensuring a simple, fast, and efficient operation.
Technical performance adapted to field requirements
The equipment includes technical specifications sized to meet operational constraints:
- clean water tank: 2,500 L
- wastewater tank: 3,000 L
- rotary nozzle: 80 L/min at 150 bar
- hot water high-pressure lances: 20 L/min at 230 bar
- suction system: 4,500 L/min
These features ensure high-performance cleaning while maintaining sufficient autonomy for field operations.
An answer to environmental and operational challenges
Beyond performance, the solution also addresses environmental challenges.
The water management and recycling system helps reduce consumption while ensuring better control of wastewater discharge.
Direct waste recovery during cleaning operations also contributes to a more efficient and responsible management approach.
Result: a coherent industrial solution, adapted to field constraints and aligned with performance and environmental responsibility objectives.
From idea to field: the design process of a custom industrial solution
The design of a custom industrial solution relies on a structured approach, with a sequence of well-controlled stages.
Each phase helps secure the project and ensures the delivery of equipment truly adapted to the client’s constraints.
Needs analysis and co-engineering
Le point de départ reste toujours le besoin terrain. Les équipes travaillent en lien direct avec le client The starting point is always the field requirement. Teams work closely with the client to understand:
- operating conditions
- technical constraints
- performance objectives
This co-engineering phase helps define a clear foundation by integrating operational requirements from the outset.
Industrial design
Based on the defined inputs, the engineering department designs a suitable technical solution.
This stage allows:
- equipment sizing
- validation of technical choices
- anticipation of integration constraints
Industrialisation and manufacturing
Once the design is validated, the project moves into the industrialisation phase.
The objective is to ensure:
- reproducibility
- reliability
- cost control
The teams then manufacture the equipment in line with the specifications defined upstream.
Quality control, commissioning and support
Before delivery, each system undergoes inspections to ensure compliance and performance.
Commissioning validates proper operation under real field conditions.
Finally, support can be provided, including team training, to ensure quick adoption and optimal use.
Why work with a specialist in custom industrial solutions?
Developing a custom industrial solution requires technical expertise as well as the ability to manage a project end-to-end.
Working with a specialist helps structure the process and secure every stage.
It offers several advantages:
- a single point of contact from initial need to commissioning
- better control of technical constraints and design choices
- faster project development
- reduced risks related to integration and operation
It also ensures a coherent system designed to operate under real conditions, without major post-delivery adjustments.
In this case, close collaboration between teams made it possible to design a solution perfectly aligned with the client’s requirements.
Beyond design and manufacturing, on-site support also plays a key role in ensuring effective equipment use.
